WordPress, built for
the people who edit it

We build WordPress sites on custom themes, blocks and plugins, so pages load fast, updates stay routine and your team can publish on its own.

Thanks, we’ll be in touch soon.

You’re in good company

A few of the companies we’ve worked with.

When the site gets in the way

Many WordPress sites start well and get harder to live with. Plugins pile up, the theme becomes hard to change, and updates wait because no one is sure what they’ll break. Editors learn which pages not to touch. WordPress is rarely the problem. How the site was built usually is.

What we build

Sites your team can edit, update and extend.

  • New sites on block themes

Your design built as a block theme, so headers, footers and page templates are edited in one place, without touching code.

  • Blocks and patterns for your content

Custom blocks for each kind of content, and ready-made patterns with the layout locked where pages need to match.

  • Custom plugins

Features such as bookings, member areas or product finders, built as plugins to WordPress’s coding standards and tested with each update.

  • Rebuilds of older sites

Sites on older themes or page builders rebuilt on blocks, with your content kept and moved across.

  • Moves to WordPress

Pages, posts and media moved from your current platform and checked against the old site, with redirects so links keep working.

  • Headless WordPress

For a site or app with a front end of its own, WordPress stays where your team edits and sends the content through its own API. We’ll tell you when it’s worth the extra work.

  • Connections to your systems

Forms, search and sign-in linked to your CRM and the other systems behind your site.

  • Speed

The pages your visitors use most, measured, then the theme, images and plugins tuned until they load quickly.

  • Security and updates

Each person given only the access their work needs, updates tried on a copy of the site first, and backups you can restore.

Easy to edit, within your design

Your editors build pages from blocks and patterns made for your content. The layout is set where it has to hold, such as a case study or a team page, and open where they need room to write.

Before launch, your editors get a short guide to which blocks and patterns to use, and what each one is for.

Up to 60 characters. The layout holds, however long it runs.

Easy to keep up to date

WordPress, its theme and its plugins all get regular updates, security fixes among them. WordPress installs some of its own updates automatically, but your theme and plugins need someone to look after them.

We build so updating stays routine: fewer plugins, each with a reason to be there, changes tried on a copy of the site before they go live, and backups you can restore.

Start with a review of your site

We look at the site you have: its theme, its plugins, its speed, how your team edits it and how updates are handled. You get a written review of what to keep, what to fix and what to rebuild, and a proposal for the first step.

Starting from nothing? We begin with your content and the pages your team will edit most.

  1. Is WordPress the right choice for us?

It suits sites with plenty of content that a team edits often. If you’re building a product with complex logic, a custom web app may fit better, and we’ll tell you.

  2. Block editor or page builder?

We build new sites on the block editor, WordPress’s own. If your site runs on a page builder, we can keep it running, or move it to blocks when that makes sense.

  3. Can you take over our existing site?

Yes. We start with a review, then fix what matters most first.

  4. Who hosts the site?

Hosting and the platform beneath your site are a service of their own.

    Cloud, DevOps & Security
  5. Who looks after it once it’s live?

We can: updates, security fixes and monitoring on a regular rhythm, with agreed response times, from a team that knows your site.

    Support & Maintenance
  6. Will the site be accessible?

Yes. We build to the current standard, WCAG 2.2, at level AA, unless you need another.

    Accessibility
  7. What does it cost?

It depends on the size of the site and what it needs to do. You get a written proposal before any work starts: the scope, the price or rate, and how you pay.

  8. Can WordPress developers join our own team?

Yes. If you’d rather add developers to your own team than hand us the project, this page sets out how.

    Hire WordPress Developers
  9. Do you build WooCommerce® stores?

Yes, on WordPress, with features of their own and connections to your other systems.

    Development for WooCommerce
  10. Can AI assistants use our site?

Yes, within limits you set. On a current version of WordPress, its Abilities API lets a site set out what other systems, AI agents among them, may do with it, and only for a signed-in user. Connecting an assistant over MCP takes the official MCP Adapter, a plugin.
