You’re in good company

A few of the companies we’ve worked with.

How hiring works

From the first call to their first day, you decide each step.

  1. You tell us.

    Tell us about the work

A short call about your BigCommerce store, its storefront, apps and integrations, what you want to change, and who you need. The first call is free.

  2. We introduce.

    Meet developers matched to it

Within 48 hours, we introduce developers whose experience fits, with the work each has done.

  3. You choose.

    Choose who joins

You talk to each one and decide who starts.

  4. They start.

Start on a date you agree

They join your team in your tools, and work in your time zone.

What they work on

Storefronts, B2B, apps and integrations.

Stencil themes

Every change kept in source control, so each new Cornerstone release can still be merged in, on a copy first.

Catalyst storefronts

BigCommerce’s storefront built on Next.js, kept current with each release.

B2B buying

Company accounts, buyer roles, quotes and shopping lists, set up for how your buyers order.

Several storefronts

A brand, a country or a trade site on the store you already run, where your plan includes it.

Checkout

Checkout settings and extensions, with the cart and sign-in carried over from a headless storefront.

Apps

Apps of your own, and a review of the ones you’ve installed.

Integrations

Each with its own API account and only the scopes it needs, sharing the store’s allowance well.

Working in your team

They work the way your team already does.

  • Your tools. Your own chat, tickets and code repository, so you see the work as it happens.
  • Your hours. They work in your time zone, on hours you agree before anyone starts.
  • Your access. You decide what they can reach, and remove it when they leave.

Questions worth asking

How soon can a developer start?

We introduce developers matched to your work within 48 hours. Once you’ve chosen, they start on a date you agree.

Can we interview them first?

Yes. You talk to each developer and choose who joins.

Will they work in our time zone?

Yes. They work in your time zone, on hours you agree before anyone starts.

What does it cost?

It depends on the experience you need and how long you need them. Your proposal sets out the monthly fee and how you pay before anyone starts.

Pricing

Can they switch our server-side storefront calls to private tokens?

Yes. They move each call made from a server to a private token, as BigCommerce’s docs set out, and leave browser storefronts on the tokens they use now.

Can they build on B2B Edition?

Yes. They set up B2B Edition for how your buyers order, and build on its APIs where the Buyer Portal doesn’t cover what you need.

Can they keep our Catalyst storefront up to date?

Yes. They apply each Catalyst release and Next.js security update, and test the storefront before each one goes live.

Can you take on the whole project instead?

Yes. A written review of your store comes first. Then one team builds the storefront, the apps and the integrations, a part at a time, with you deciding the order.
