How hiring works

From the first call to their first day, you decide each step.

  1. You tell us.

    Tell us about the work

A short call about your systems, how your subscriptions and access are set up, and who you need. The first call is free.

  2. We introduce.

    Meet developers matched to it

Within 48 hours, we introduce developers whose experience fits, with the work each has done.

  3. You choose.

    Choose who joins

You talk to each one and decide who starts.

  4. They start.

Start on a date you agree

They join your team in your tools, and work in your time zone.

What they work on

Functions, apps, access and the code that describes them.

Functions and apps

Azure Functions and Azure App Service apps built and extended, with tests from the start.

Sign-in and identities

Apps that sign people in through Microsoft Entra ID, and apps given managed identities of their own in place of stored passwords.

Infrastructure as code

The resources you run kept as code in your repository, every change to them reviewed, then deployed from CI.

Containers

Services packaged as containers and run on Azure services, each image rebuilt from a current base.

Versions within support

Runtimes and versions kept inside their support, function apps moved to the isolated worker model among them.

Costs and tags

Tags for team and product set on every resource by policy, and budgets with alerts in Microsoft Cost Management.

Access at the right level

Roles moved down to the level each person’s work needs, with the rules set once at the top in Azure Policy.

Ways to hire

One developer

Full time, by the month, working as part of your team.

A small team

Developers who look after your systems together, from the subscriptions and who can change them to the code that describes them and the checks in CI.

Working in your team

They work the way your team already does.

  • Your tools. Your own chat, tickets and code repository, so you see the work as it happens.
  • Your hours. They work in your time zone, on hours you agree before anyone starts.
  • Your access. You decide what they can reach, and remove it when they leave.

Questions worth asking

How soon can a developer start?

We introduce developers matched to your work within 48 hours. Once you’ve chosen, they start on a date you agree.

Can we interview them first?

Yes. You talk to each developer and choose who joins.

Will they work in our time zone?

Yes. They work in your time zone, on hours you agree before anyone starts.

What does it cost?

It depends on the experience you need and how long you need them. Your proposal sets out the monthly fee and how you pay before anyone starts.

Pricing

Can they move our functions off the in-process model?

Yes. Microsoft has set November 10, 2026 as the end of support for the in-process model, with the isolated worker model as the way forward. They move each function app on a branch and test it before it goes live.

Can they take the passwords out of our app settings?

Yes. Where the services support it, they give each app an identity of its own, and keep the secrets that must remain in Azure Key Vault.

Can they narrow who can change our live subscription?

Yes. They review who holds each role and where, then move each one to the narrowest level that works, tried in a test subscription first.

Can you take on the whole project instead?

Yes. That starts with a written review of your subscriptions, who holds which role and where, how much of what runs is described in code, and a proposal for a first step, such as one app moved from a stored password to an identity of its own.
